Description -Assist maintenance in machine commissioning. -Cooperate with the Technical Department in trials and samples. -Ensure a smooth run of the whole plant (Extrusion, ink, printing, lamination and cutting). -Ensure that safety and security are fully implemented on the shop floor. -Give inputs to optimize the production process. -Supervise start up of new machinery and files report when needed. -Evaluate with section heads production operators. -Helps in troubleshooting and solving production problems in cooperation with section heads and shift supervisors. -Caries out/follows up on all plant related projects at all levels: Systems, developments, Machinery, infrastructure& manufacturing practices. -Member of the plant quality council. -Takes part of the all plant meetings: technical focus group meeting, review meeting‡ -Should be fully involved in all I.R.R or holds handling. -Follow up on the reworks and hold backlog lists with the concerned sections or departments. -Follow up with the Production unit head on all production requirements from others departments. -Works on the optimization of the production facility from material handling to finished goods warehouse. -Logs the plant hires budget. -Logs the plant spare parts consumption. -Prepares charts and trend analyses in coordination with the PM manager -Reads specialist journals, attends training courses and industry meetings in order to stay up to date with the latest Technological developments and trends in engineering.
Qualifications -2-5 years of experience. -Bachelor of Mechanical/Chemical Engineering is a must. -Experience & background with Manufacturer packaging company is highly preferred. -Very good English in both written & Spoken.
