Description The Document Production Department is responsible for creating, editing and reformatting all Firm documents consistent with the Firms precedents, templates and House Style. The department handles the processing of all copy, audio and scanned work and provides expert assistance in relation to resolving problems. Specific responsibilities include: To produce and amend complex business critical documents with speed and accuracy To format, paginate, number and present documents according to the Firms House Style. To proof read and check all work for spelling, grammar, formatting, presentation and sense. To be an experts user of key software packages and take responsibility for training needs to improve relevant skills needed to meet the needs of the Firm. To proactively work with other members of the team to ensure relevant documentation is produced to meet internal and external clients expectations and deadlines. Established document production experience in a fast paced professional services environment using templates and House Style with exposure to working with lengthy (100+ page) and corrupt documents.
Qualifications •Excellent accuracy and attention to details. •Typing speed of at least 65wpm and proficient in both audio and copy typing in English and Arabic. •Excellent user of Word, PowerPoint and Excel. •Experience of working on and problem solving corrupt documents. •Experience of working with scanned documents. •Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. •Pro-active and positive with the ability to build effective working relationships. •Ability to use initiative and problem solve document queries. •Strong communication and organizational skills. •Excellent client care skills. •A good team player. •Confident, professional and the ability to use own judgment.

Other Skills General approach •To show a positive approach and interest in the work that the department undertakes. •To show initiative when responding to queries and to actively try and seek solutions to problem documents. •To proactively share information in relation to document best practice or “fixes” to document problems, consistent with the department’s overall aim for excellence in accuracy and efficiency. •To be flexible in meeting the needs of the department and the Firm- e.g. occasional shift changes to accommodate meetings, training sessions, etc. •Reliability and punctuality are also key to enable the department to operate effectively. •Flexible with the ability to work outside of core hours from time to time as may be required in order to meet deadlines.
