Job description:
Computer networking cabling and electrical cabling technician has to have a good knowledge and experience on the following
-
Structured cabling & Networking cabling (CAT6, CAT5e, Patch Panels,
Cable termination, Cable testing, cable labeling, cable neat sorting
and cable management)
- Cable tray installation
- Cable piping and cable trunks installation
- Electrical cabling and electrical breaker installation and configurations
- Electrical industrial plugs and accessories
- Drilling and Civil work needs
- Fiber optics knowledge, termination, splicing and testing is a plus
- Cable routing and best path selections.
- Lighting, Electrical plugs and sockets, and other electrical relevant jobs.
- Any other relevant experience and knowledge that adds to the job.
The
Technician has to show the ability to implement and finish any job in
the best quality and with a very high level of cleanness, and must show
the ability to use common sense in such job.
The
job will require the employee to work solo (alone) and to work with a
team. In addition, he might need to take some accurate decisions on
project site on the spot.
The job
nature is based on projects or tasks assigned to him. Overtime might be
needed in some cases. Some travel may be needed based on the projects
location.
