Description Issuance/advising and amendment of Import/Export L/Cs ( all types ). Ensure that customer/correspondent is not under any sanctions OFAC or AML. Select correspondent bank from H.O. list to direct import L/Cs for them. Obtain proper approvals to add our confirmation to Export L/Cs. Lodgment & settlement of documents import ,export, inward and outward documentary collections . Follow up with customers to provide settlement instructions for inward documentary bills for collection. Issuance of Shipping Guarantees and follow up with customers to retrieve them. Examination of Import/Export shipping documents and deciding whether they comply to/with L/C terms, UCP 600,ISBP 681 . Endorsement/stamping import L/Cs shipping documents and prepare necessary formats as per local regulations. Payment value of Import documents as per correspondent banks schedule instructions by debiting customers A/C or creation of loan, and book system entries according to the case.
Qualifications Thorough understanding of SWIFT and all Trade Finance and financial operating systems. General banking knowledge. CDCS Holder.
