Description Is responsible for Rotating Equipment Condition Monitoring. Rotating equipment general troubleshooting; Regular review of vibration data collected both online and offline; Regular review of lube oil analysis results; Regular review of machinery thermodynamic performance data; Preparation and execution of rotating and static equipment vibration surveys to rectify the root cause of excessive vibration; Prompt reporting on detected failures and malfunctions both developed and developing; Preparing and issue of quarterly condition monitoring reports; Participation to failure root cause analysis (FRCA) studies; Supervision of Condition Monitoring activities performed by other maintenance personnel and contractors such as offline vibration data collecting, lube oil sampling, lube oil laboratory testing; Engineering supervision and quality control at the execution of rotor alignment, inspection, repair and replacement of couplings, bearings and other components of rotating equipment where a poorly performed maintenance could cause the equipment excessive vibration; Rotating equipment field balancing and workshop rotor balancing with a balancing machine; Close cooperation with plant instrumentation team and Bentley Nevada service engineers to ensure correct performance of machinery monitoring systems; Coaching and support for other personnel in area of condition monitoring.
Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; At least 3 years of practical experience in area of machinery diagnostics and condition monitoring; Deep knowledge of rotating equipment design, operations and maintenance, particularly for gas turbines, reciprocating compressors and centrifugal pumps; Practical experience in rotating equipment troubleshooting, maintenance, rotor alignment, field balancing; Shall hold ISO 18436-2 valid certificate for Vibration Diagnostics level II or higher; Shall hold ISO 18436-4 valid certificate for Lube Oil Analysis or shall complete the relevant training within one year after employment; Shall have completed Machinery Thermodynamic Performance Analysis training or shall complete this training within one year after employment; Shall have completed Bentley Nevada System1 training or shall complete this training within one year after employment.
