A multinational company located in Rehab is requiring the following position:
Job Title: Programmer I
Department/Team: Software Engineering.
Job summary: Responsible for developing software using relevant programming languages. Software includes game
development, web based systems, client and server side software and desktop applications etc.
Work closely with and reports to Software Development Engineers.
Key duties and Responsibilities:- Perform and develop quality programming and coding to written technical specifications, using relevant
programming language.
- Research, learn and write new software languages to meet the need of any given project.
- Support to create test plans and scripts, carry out bugs testing, identify defects and fix them where they
were discovered or required.
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
- Provide support to Software Development Engineer to maintain and extend existing development
software and activities.
- Contribute to the technical direction and architecture of the software.
- Support in writing and maintaining documentation of software functionality.
Requirements: - University/College graduate in software engineering or relevant field (Technical Expertise*)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience is required
- Good knowledge and experience of relevant programming languages and methodologies: C/C++, C#, or
Java, OOP concept and software development lifecycle. (Technical Expertise*)
- Good Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving skills
- Self-motivated and willing to participate in and explore many areas of software development (Self
Development*)
- Thorough and dilligent with tasks and deadlines (Effective working*)
- Good attention to detail
- Good level of English is preferred
