Description 1. Provide detailed management oversight of the assigned department including analysis of discrepant areas, generation of Corrective Action Requests (CAR), review and acceptance of corrective actions to prevent discrepancy reoccurrence and or process improvement. 2. Develop metrics of quality performance and monthly reports reflecting that performance. 3. Establish, conduct and oversee auditing procedures for both internal quality audits and supplier quality audits. 4. Follow up on vendor discrepancies to assure adequate corrective action have been taken and are effective. 5. Initiate Self Disclosures in accordance with the Company open door policy as required. 6. Maintain a record of Supplier audits and approval to include audits conducted by phone, mail, or in person. 7. Participate in Certification Projects as assigned. 8. Identify problems with the policies and procedures and participate in corrective action development 9. Follow-up all CAR or responses to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken and effective. 10. Investigate and provide timely responses to both Customer and Company investigation requests. 11. Actively review and revise all company procedure manuals to ensure current procedures are in place and being followed.
Qualifications • At least (8) years experience in quality preferable in a manufacturing environment. • Must have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with a wide variety of people. • Excellent computer skills. • Analytical skills capable of developing quality performance metrics • Expertise in mechanical drawing interpretation. • Able to work with minimal supervision. • Language (read, write, and understand English). • Must have proven record in leadership role.
