Description —Formulating of budgetary and accounting policies related to transactions recording, cost allocation and reporting. —Examining operating costs and the income and expenditure of the to develop standard cost data and accurate inventory valuations. —Providing assurance about the accuracy of information contained in financial reports and their compliance with statutory and accounting principles requirements. —Providing financial and taxation advice on business structures, plans and operating costs and allocation methodologies. — Appraising cash flow and financial risk of investment projects considered by the company. —Applying principles of cost accounting to conduct studies which provide detailed cost information not supplied by general accounting systems. —Planning studies and collecting data to determine costs of business activity and ultimate allocation for cost efficiency, such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labour. —Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs through comparing actual costs to estimates and analyze variances. —Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic report comparing standard costs to actual production costs. — Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products.
