Description 1- Evaluate end user needs and system functionality and ensure that ICT facilities meet these needs with maximum efficiency. 2- Plan, develop and submit, to line manager, the ICT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure cost effectiveness. 3- Liaise with Finance Dept on annual IT requirements and make recommendations for budgets. 4- Liaise with vendors to negotiate on supplier packages and deliverables. 5- Schedule upgrades, maintenance and security backups of hardware and software systems. 6- Research and install new systems as per organizations current and strategic plans. 7- Ensure the smooth running of all ICT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision 8- Schedule, plan and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systems, such as the installation of new database. 9- Ensure that software licensing laws are updated and adhered to. 10- Ensure system implementation of secure access to the network for end users and remote users. 11- Ensure the security of data from internal and external attacks/viruses/theft by effective firewall implementation. 12- Ensure the security of data by remote back up and contingency plans 13- Oversee the provision of end users with appropriate support, training and advice. 14- Liaise with HRD to mentor and train new staff and upgrade skills of existing staff.
Qualifications 1- Minimum 6 years experience in IT environment 2- Previous work experience in similar or related field 3- Minimum 5 years experience in management / team supervisory role
