Description — Responsible for developing and delivery of the business strategy. — Extensive experience, proven ability and excellent people skills to manage effectively a multi-million dollar buying budgets. — Strategically targeting and acquiring Brands based on style knowledge and understanding of Namshi“s target customer. — Make selections from identified Brands, developing the assortment within your category. — Accumulate trend information through attending Buying Fairs and generally maintaining market awareness in keeping with our target customer. — Work closely with the Merchandising and Buying teams, to interrogate sales and inventory data to inform and monitor buying decisions. — Identify strong and weak selling items and making adjustments to the selection strategy accordingly. — Meeting and managing suppliers with a view to building robust and preferential relationships and securing timely delivery of orders.
Qualifications • Past experience as a Director / Senior Manager / Senior Buyer for a retail chain / multi brand stores. • Experience working in the Egyptian with in-depth knowledge of women or men’s fashion / apparel.....etc. • Experience buying from 20+ brands for the Egyptian market. • Very strong network of contacts with local brands and distributors. • Fluent in English.
