Description     — Process all purchase orders, including coding and managing all information through excel order sheets. — Liaise with suppliers and buyers, acting as intermediary to expedite deliveries and resolve any issues relating to delivery. — Communicate with the warehouse on all issues relating to delivery. — Assist the Buyer in seeking new sources of supply. — Analyse reports and make merchandising recommendations on the basis of reports to the Buying function. — Assist the Buyer in maintaining procurement documents in a systematic and auditable fashion. — Solicit written and telephone quotations from suppliers and assist in tabulating bids.
Qualifications    • 3-5 years of experience as a Buying Assistant/Order Manager in a retail environment • Experience working in the GCC • High degree of capability in Microsoft Excel • Strong network of contacts with local brands and distributors • Detail oriented and able to multi task • Comfortable working in a start up environment • Fluent in English
