Temporary Assistant in UKTI Section - The British Embassy in Cairo



The British Embassy in Cairo is seeking to hire a Temporary Assistant in UKTI Section.


Main Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Support all team members in desk research including but not limited to; validating contacts, directory search, sending Emails and faxes and consolidating reports.
·         Support the team during events and seminars; write, send and follow invitations, help in receiving and registering guests.
·         Support in data base updating.
·         Support all administration works for the department
·         On line research



The ideal candidate will have:
·         University Degree
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic
·         Customer focused and target oriented.
·         Excellent  IT Skills (Microsoft applications)
·         Efficient  delivery skills
·         Team work oriented
·         Be a self-starter, pro-active in working with and motivating colleagues.
·         Have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
·         Fast learner

The successful candidate will be expected to start as soon as possible in February 2013, subject to the applicant obtaining appropriate security clearance. A temporary contract will be given for three months.
