Description
We are looking for Web&Mobile designer. As a member of the Creative team, you'll be responsible for designing the future of FooF.com's web and mobile experiences. You'll be working closely with the product, IA, and programming teams to plan, design and execute: mobile and web sites, apps, interactive experiences and more. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of user experience, is passionate about design, and a vision for how these can be best applied to a mobile medium. He or she will have a proven track record designing mobile and web interfaces that are as aesthetically pleasing as they are usable.
Responsibilities:
Create and execute beautifully functional designs for web and mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad or Android.
Promote our creative culture through educating, inspiring and developing the team's skills and executing solid interactive work.
Lead projects under the supervision of the creative director and senior team members.
Attend educational workshops to maintain professional and technical knowledge.
All other duties as assigned.
Specific Skills
Requirements:
0-2 years relevant industry experience as an art director or designer reflected in a strong online portfolio displaying user-centered design.
Ability to visualize, own and execute the creation of an experience from initial conception to implementation
Knowledge of key design programs.
Understanding of information architecture and its application in UI Design.
Working knowledge of how to translate wireframes into design.
Enjoys and supports working on a team.
Superior communication skills, organized and great time management.
Confident and capable of juggling multiple projects simultaneously and the ability to deliver stunning results on a tight deadline.
