Description — Manage a team of java developers, motivating and developing the technical team to bring out the best of their technical abilities — Competently plan, schedule and monitor Research and development work — Design, implement and deliver high quality S/W project in JAVA,JSP,Servlets,J2EE or other JAVA technologies. — Research, review and assess all existing frameworks and open-source software that could speed up production — Participate in detail level of coding, code walk through and unit testing of S/W modules.
Qualifications • Bachelor degree in computer science or engineering discipline • 5+ years of Java language experience, developing scalable, maintainable, robust systems. • 3+ Hands on team leading experience in a small to medium size company, Experience is essential covering all aspects of software development lifecycle • Excellent interviewing and researching skills (e.g. developers, testers, customers) • Excellent self-organization skills which should include estimating, planning and risk assessment activities • Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales in a deadline driven environment • A keen eye for detail and high levels of accuracy • Excellent coaching and mentoring skills • Knowledge of current technological trends in the S/W development industry, such as OOPS, Multi-Tier S/W development, Component Architecture, Web and cloud Based S/W • Proficient software design, database and development skills • Excellent communication skills required
