Description — Providing appropriate, intellectually stimulating instruction in each training event by taking into consideration the unique abilities of each delegate enrolled — Designing and/or preparing course materials and other related documents i.e. handouts, presentations, learners manual. — Developing a mix of formal and informal training developmental activities to enrich training delivery — Ensuring that the training environment is appropriate and suitable for the learners — Be able to deliver training programs in a variety of modes i.e. public, in-house or OJT and a variety of methods i.e. case studies, role plays, focus groups, etc. — Identify/assess learners needs and if necessary adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs. — Developing a scheme of work and lesson plan for a training event and communicating this plan along with event objectives to learners — Discussion of learning outcomes with learners as course proceed — Enabling and encouraging learners participation during class sessions with equal opportunity in participation — Manage adult learner behaviors during the training event by establishing ground rules and course framework within an adult learning environment — Ensuring that all required course paperwork is available, filled accordingly and submitted on time to the training coordinator i.e. attendance sheet, evaluation, exams and assignments. — Ensuring proper and non-discriminatory marking of learners assignments and exams
Qualifications • Working with training manager in formulating new training needs emerging in the market • Working as a role expert figure and presenting SGS in an appropriate manner Education & Experience • Relevant university bachelor degree to the field of tutoring expertise i.e. QM, FSMS or ENMS, etc. • IRCA certified lead auditor in the field of expertise (Management Systems Tutor) • Business certified in the field of expertise (Business Management Tutor) i.e. PMP, CMA, etc. • Postgraduate managerial qualification is an asset • Minimum five years experience as an internal auditor and/or business manager in field of expertise. • Minimum two years experience as a training tutor/speaker in the field of expertise • Experience in designing training materials is an asset • Train-The-Trainer certificate is an added asset
