Description — To be responsible for the Syrian Refugees Support Project in terms of planning, overseeing implementation of activities, monitoring and reporting on all activities. — To be responsible for the supervision of administrative, technical and financial aspects of the Syrian Refugees Support Project, as per UNHCR, IR-Egypt and IRW policies and procedures. — To regularly liaise with UNHCR partners and maintain professional relations as needed. — To prepare weekly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual reports. — To maintain a computerized database of families and their needs to function as a resource base for generating project ideas and activities. — To take initiative for personal and professional development (with or without IR-Egypts financial assistance). — To respect Islamic Reliefs values and practices personally and professionally. — To perform any other duties as and when required and or requested from time to time
Qualifications • A University degree in social sciences or a related field, post graduate studies is an asset. • At least 5 years’ experience in the field of development with national and/or international organization. • A proven record of effective management of community development/emergency management projects and staff • Broad knowledge and understanding of community development issues and principles • Demonstrated knowledge of networking and building partnerships. • Strong desire to improve the livelihoods of local communities
