Description 1. Assess what type of hardware each schools LAN requires and make recommendations for purchase. Assume responsibility for the implementation, configuration and ongoing support of network hardware/firmware. 2. Assess what firmware is needed for each schools LAN to ensure efficient use of equipment and make recommendations for purchases 3. Responsible for implementation and upgrades 4. Assess when hardware and software need to be upgraded and make appropriate recommendations for purchase. 5. Maintain an updated knowledge of school board policy, administrative regulations and legal requirements that relate to purchase of equipment, security of data, and copyright laws. 6. Document the network topology in order to quickly access information needed to make purchases and diagnose problems. 7. Implement and maintain network security so that business, student data, and communications are secure. 8. Implement and maintain virus protection and backups for the servers to prevent loss of data and damage of hardware and software 9. Maintain an inventory of all telecommunication equipment according to state law and district board policy. 10. Assist in maintaining network connections to all administrative staff. 11. Manage the NOS servers for the LANs and the districts infrastructure. 12. Create and maintain a remote monitoring system of the network using SNMP and other network management tools in order to maximize network efficiency
Qualifications Certification such as :CCNA, CCNP,MSCE & MSCP is a plus Demonstrate a strong initiative and willingness to learn new skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills Proficiency in both Arabic and English language (speaking, reading and writing) Maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.

Other Skills CCNP Certification is a must
