Logistics Manager – Macmillan Publishers Egypt, Cairo
Macmillan Egypt is looking for an experienced logistics professional to manage all supply chain operations within the company, including importing, exporting, warehousing and local delivery of our products: educational books and related materials. He/she will be responsible for creating and implementing efficient and effective procedures and processes to ensure customer satisfaction, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and working within a budget. He/she will manage a small team of around seven employees, providing motivation and fostering team spirit. He/she will have excellent knowledge of ERP software systems, and will be required to supply regular reports to managers in Egypt and the UK.

The ideal candidate will possess:
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic
• A professional attitude and approach to work
• Excellent management and operational skills
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• 5 years experience in distribution and/or logistics
• Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (such as Sage 300)
• Experience in customer service preferred
• Ability to analyse, plan and strategize in order to improve performance
Qualifications:
• A good first degree
