GL Accountant Jobs in Egypt Description — Ensure the integrity of financial information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. — Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions; resolve discrepancies. — Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries. — Preparation of various expense analysis and related reporting. — Assists with monthly, quarterly and yearly financials reporting. This includes reporting requirements for auditors on a quarterly and annual basis. — Ensure a timely and accurate processing of Journal entries and period-end (including master data). Ensure that all entries have an adequate back up. Ensuring that all reconciliations are completed each month (as well as signed off checklists). — Perform month end analytical reviews of the accounts, explaining fluctuations to management and ensuring that the balance sheet and profit and loss accounts are coherent.
