Description Process, verify, maintain and review computerized or manual records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance, and inventories. Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the suppliers reputation and history and update the above suppliers list. Evaluate technically the quotations of mechanical spare parts make the technical recommendation to the requesting department. Purchase the highest quality supplies at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts. Make inspection and acceptance guidelines for the purchases mechanical spare parts when delivered in store and review the inspection report. Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives. Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods. Confer with staff, users, and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action. Monitor and follow applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications BSC of Mechanical/Electrical Power Engineering. Minimum of 3 to 7 years experience in a similar position. Purchasing certificate or related studies is a plus. Ability to operate with manual and/or automated systems (ERP), preferably SAP or MS Axipta.
