As-Salam International Hospital has the below vacancies:-

1- Stores Manager

Responsibilities and duties:

· Establish and maintain effective communication with other hospital staff

· Ensure fulfillment of all Joint Commission International Standards

· Attend weekly Senior Management Committee meetings

· Participate in annual Governance Council presentations and prepare annual departmental budgets

· Keep track of all departmental Key performance indicators and activate quality improvement projects

· Ensure that annual and monthly expense budgets with regards to material utilization is in line with budgeted costs

· Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures by all staff coming under responsibilities of Stores manager

· Recruit and select high caliber staff within the departmental beget and maintain harmonious working relationships

· Ensure that all departmental staff perform to a high standards, provide 50 hrs of annual training, in association with the learning and development manager , where required , to maintain an efficient work force

· Receive all goods and equipments order by the hospital designated delivery point being the Main Stores

· Handle all items according to property and storage requirements ie, cool – refrigerated frozen – hazardous etc.

· Ensure that their main Stores functions – receiving – delivery – storage are performed in an orderly and timely manner through the supervisors concerned.

· Issue all stock items to stores and fill departmental direct requisition

· Liaise with hospital purchase department for safe transport to the hospital of goods and equipments received

· Ensure that goods \ equipments received comply with items \ quantities ordered by matching the purchase to delivery notes

· Ensure that the main stores equipment is safely used by employees and maintained in good working order

Ensure that the storage area \ shelving is maximized according to type of storage needed and with regard to turnover in selection of location

Required:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Healthcare background is preferable / fluent English.
Experience : 12-15 years of experience in inventory management, at least 3-5 yrs in a supervisory or managerial post


2- Pharmacy Manager

Responsibilities and duties:

Establish, maintain and oversee the highest standard of dispensing possible, which will be carried out by staff in the department.
Recruit, select high caliber staff within departmental budget and maintain harmonious working relationships.
Provide in service training \ development and regular assessment of staff.
Supervise the work of members of the department to ensure agreed standards are achieved and maintained.
Be familiar with and work as Egyptian laws and Ethics of Egypt.
Ensure that pharmaceutical supplies are in accord with the recorded specifications of quality, quantity, cost and source.
Ensure the correct pricing, charging and revenue capture for all pharmaceutical products.
Establish and maintain regular communications with medical and other hospital staff.
Ensure adequate and acceptable staffing cover as and when required in accord with the needs of the hospital.
Analyze monthly departmental performance reports and take appropriate action on variances.
Observe all company or legal requirements with regard to health and safety precautions and procedures
Provide effective, quick and optimum response to ER cases
Implementing all the standards of the JCI
· Ensure fulfillment of all Joint Commission International Standards

· Advice Top Management in recruitment and retention of competent consultants

· Prepare and update departmental consultant roster in line with performance expectations

· Ensure control of material consumption in line with budgetary targets and assist the Purchase department in reduction of cost price of medical supplies

· Participate in annual Governance Council presentations and prepare annual departmental budgets

· Keep track of all departmental Key performance indicators and activate quality improvement projects

Provide 50 hrs of in – service training annually , development and regular assessment of staff


Required:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree / Healthcare background is preferable / fluent English.
Experience : 12-15 years of experience in inventory management, at least 3-5 yrs in a supervisory or managerial post
Supply chain concepts oriented is a must.


3- Bio-Medical Engineering Manager

Responsibilities and duties:

· Planning, organizing, controlling and monitoring the activities of the department within agreed professional practice requirements and in accord with agreed hospital and departmental policies and procedures

· Ensure fulfillment of all Joint Commission International Standards

· Attend weekly Senior Management Committee meetings

· Ensure reduction in maintenance in line with budgetary targets

· Participate in annual Governance Council presentations and prepare annual departmental budgets

· Keep track of all departmental Key performance indicators and activate quality improvement projects

· Recruit and select high caliber biomedical staff within the departmental budget and maintain harmonious working relationships

· Provide 50 hrs of in – service training annually , development and regular assessment of staff

· Provide end user training for all new equipments

· Repair and maintain electronic and electromechanical equipment, particularly medical instrumentation , in the hospital and associated buildings , and ensure operation is maintained at the required level of efficiency

· Evaluate equipment for efficiency and safety standards and give advice on purchasing specifications , designs and models in the format of a detailed technical evaluation report as required in discussion with end users

Carry out a effective planned hospital wide preventive maintenance scheme to maintain efficiency of equipment

Required:
