Description Develop training, job aids, and documentation for e-Marketing, SEO, and other groups. Manage copy request processes and resources. Enforcing and creating style guides and standards for web and social media content. Proofreading and editing e-Marketing copy. Reviewing content for legal and editorial accuracy Spot checking content to ensure there is no plagiarism or other unethical SEO and editorial practices. Ensuring SEO key words are gracefully included in text. Researching content for various areas of practice. Ensuring authoritative links and anchor links are included in text. Ensuring content requests are readable and understandable by writers. Managing content vendors (assigning and scheduling content requests; ensuring schedule compliance; reporting; and assuring content quality) Writing custom press releases and engaging with clients to get press release approvals Managing PRWeb press releases, developing press release templates, troubleshooting Vocus (press release vendor) inquiries (case numbers, verdicts, etc.) Creating, requesting, and/or vetting blog and social media copy Creating social media editorial calendars. Resolving client content escalations. Developing specialized content (kits, brochures, etc.) for elite customers.
Qualifications • B.A. English, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent work in publishing, marketing communications, or technical writing. • Excellent command of English. • Excellent time management skills • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. • Expert in MS Word, including style, formatting, and revision-tracking tools. • Superior ability to identify errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, style, etc. • Must work well with other writers, copy editors, proofreaders, SEO experts, web designers, developers, and project managers. • Must be able to work independently to meet established deadlines and conform to all specifications and requirements. • Understanding of basic internet technologies such as HTML, Word Press, and web navigation. • Web research skills including an understanding of how to research legal practice areas, federal and state laws, and associated statistics.
