Description The Finance and Operations Manager is a country-based position responsible for the management of the overall activity components to ensure effective management of the overall project. The Finance and Operations Manager is responsible for day to day project management and the management of project budgets and finance in compliance with USAID, and other bilateral/multilateral donors, regulations and local law under the guidance and supervision of the Chief of Party. Maintains project financial reporting following USAID, AIR, and other bi-/multi-lateral donor procedures and guidelines, and in compliance with local law; Maintains all financial records in compliance with USAID and according to AIR procedures and processes; Prepares and submits monthly, quarterly, and annual financial, accounting, and project reports to AIR Washington; Communicates with local banks and ensures all payments/transfers are properly executed; Handles cash in hand and all finance related issues; Prepares invoices, vouchers, contracts, and leases for review and approval by the Chief of Party in compliance with AIR and USAID regulations, policies, and procedures;
Qualifications • Finance and operations experience supporting USAID or other international donor-funded technical assistance projects; • Working knowledge of USAID and/or other bi-/multi-lateral donor financial management and compliance
