Job Title HSSE Manager for Iraq Project

Description - Support and promote all HSSE policies and procedures implemented by the company. - Administer the HSSE related policies on the site. - Review on a continuous basis the HSSE policy and HSSE systems and implementation of procedures on the project. - Coordinate with HSSE Officers for preparation of the project specific HSSE plan. - Participate in HSSE audits and inspections periodically. - Monitor and review accident statistics and advise the team as and when needed. - Lead the investigation team in case of serious accidents or incidents. - Advise management on revisions to HSSE policy. - Carry out regular and random safety inspections in site and record results. - Advise site personnel concerning safe working practices and potentially dangerous occurrences. - Identify safety-training needs for both management and operatives. - Compile and record safety statistics. - Develop and implement safe systems of work for the project through safety staff. - Overall analysis of the safety system in the company and regular information to the management where required for additional support/preventive actions required. - Commit to improve safety on a yearly basis, through quantifiable safety data. - Reports infractions and give suggestions to the Project Manager for corrective action
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering course such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. - Extensive experience in power generation or Oil & Gas sectors. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
