Description Main Tasks: — Maintaining custody of all accounting documents pertaining to MPS division. — Verifying and accounting all documents in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the company. — Ensure that proper approvals are obtained as per the delegation of authority chart for all documents. — Accurate coding of all documents before input into the accounting system. — Checking of AR Invoices and preparation of monthly Income Accrual. — Booking of supplier invoices and obtaining approval from Operations Manager if required. — Checking of O.T sheets, expense claims, leave applications, excess/short work schedule, absence notification etc. — Preparing CPR/CDR and sending it for approval by Operations Manager. — Ensure that proper controls are in place on fixed assets of the division. — Ensure that stock movements are monitored/controlled — Preparing monthly activity report (Financial) within first 3 days for the month. — Monthly Accounts along with performance review reports to be circulated latest by 7th of every month. — Income and Expenditure Variance report to be submitted to Operations Manager within 7 days of circulating the monthly PNL report. — Liaising with Operations Manager in Preparation of Yearly Budget — Preparing analysis, discussion with Operations Manager, preparing PNL & cash flow for tender submission. — Ensure that effective control is maintained in distribution and handling of Inspection Reports.
