Finance Coordinator Jobs in Egypt Description The Local Administration Reform Unit seeks a qualified candidate (Egyptian National) to fill the post of Local Economic Development Finance Coordinator. The LED Finance Coordinator (LED-FC) will be based at the Local Administration Reform Unit (LARU)will report to the LED-Program Coordinator in addition to functioning under the supervision and guidance of the Director of the Local Administration Reform Unit, and will work in full coordination with the Units senior staff.The United Nations Development Program/United Nations Capital Development Fund (UNDP/UNCDF) Senior Advisor for Local Economic Development will provide overall technical guidance of this effort and will engage strategically at various stages of the process to provide technical support and quality control as necessary.
Finance Coordinator Jobs in Egypt Qualifications Engage and provide responsive support to the process of project development to be initiated once LED Annual Action Plans are developed by localities. This process will encompass the following steps: 1. Development of project and Intervention profiles – In close collaboration with the LED Governance Systems Development Coordinator, 2. Identification and securing of project sponsors, 3. Conducting project feasibility and market studies, 4. Development of project packages for submission to sources of finance and for use to implement approved projects,

Other Skills • A graduate degree in economics, business/finance/marketing, local development, planning or other relevant fields (candidates with postgraduate qualifications will be given preference). • Relevant practical work experience in the field of at least one of the following, Finance (micro, small, medium and large scale), Banking or related fields, Project finance, Structuring and Execution of financing deals, Assessment and Mitigation of risk and Economic development promotion. • Knowledge of decentralization, local governments and the interaction between the public and private sectors for the attainment of sustainable, diversified and equitable economic growth will be considered a significant asset; • Previous experience with local and central levels stakeholders (governorates, local administrations, ministries, government agencies, private sector) in addition to international partners and funding agencies;
