Chief Accountant Jobs in Egypt Description - Responsible for knowing critical functions within the department and capable of monitoring and assisting employees within the department. Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports. Review accounts payable and check runs in proper time. Review new Acc. List & approvals. Review the daily cash movements & approvals. Handle & follow up fixed assets file. Check & approve transactions according to polices & procedures. - Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions. - Responsible for distributing financial statements and cost center reports. - Prepare work papers and supporting schedules for the annual financial review. - Prepare monthly comparison reports and cost center reports according to schedules. - Prepare financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position. - Analyze transactional processes and identify areas where additional accuracies and efficiencies can be achieved. - Responsible for accounting documents and correspondences. - Taxation (Income, Stamp, Salaries ‡ etc.) - Perform any other duties as assigned by Financial Manager
