Description —Assist the marketing manager with development, implementation, and execution of strategic venue marketing plans. —Coordinate with media buys, branding strategies, and promotional communication projects. —May create, develop and maintain venue marketing collateral for show segments such as rack cards, promotional fliers, and marketing material. —Associates with marketing and advertising agencies/consultants/ freelancers and other marketing suppliers, including contract management. —Implementation and execution of national marketing and sponsorship plans for show events. —Coordinate with the production of marketing materials and literature. —Assist promotions (Product/category) manager in ordering of promotional flyers. —Develop and communicate marketing initiatives for cross-selling business segment opportunities. —Track competitor activity by keeping abreast of market changes and the marketing mix used by competitors —Execute and analyze results of marketing campaign and advertising
Qualifications Communication Skills •Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and asks for clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings. •Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information. Computer Skills •Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office suite •Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a major plus.
