Description Determining the positions we will have to fill by forecast staffing needs via workforce planning using analysis (trend, ratio, and scatter plot) Measure the accuracy by comparing the actual calls with forecasted Forecast the calls volume using time series analysis (linear regression, position, exponential smoothing, weighted moving average, and average). Manages the call volume forecasting for all contact center businesses. Re-forecasts as required to maintain 10% variance to actual. Identify Staffing gaps and build a pool of candidates by recruiting internal candidates Establishes methods for ensuring all variables are accounted for in forecasting. Ensures accuracy of the volume forecasts for inbound and outbound calls in order that call centers are appropriately staffed to maximize efficiency and to meet departmental goals.
