Dietitian (Nutrition) Specialist :- BSC of medicine ,vet, agriculture or Home economy
Job Summary: Screen and assess diet nutrition in details and help solve wards and patient problems
Responsibilities and duties:
• Provides nutritional advice and expertise in all units of the hospital, including Catering.
• Liaises closely with Nutrition Steering Committee and the Nutrition Support Team
• Assesses diet and nutrition in more detail than a basic screen.
• Provides dietetic advice tailored to individual patient’s needs
• Tailors food and supplements to special dietary/nutritional needs
• Interprets dietary records and recalls.
• May help prescribe enteral feeds and supplements, liaising with doctors, nurses and the nutrition support team

Experience : Minimum 2 years handling foods and patients + Training in hospitals and/ or other health care facilities
