Description     Direct all operational aspects of the branch from scratch, starting with hygiene, managing trainers, schedules, client satisfaction and income to include distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales in a manner that supports reaching the profitability goals. - Communicate effectively with other branches and senior managers by sharing information on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs. - Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly. - Evaluate regularly the effectiveness of the branch operation, to see that policies are being observed and that goals are being attained - Evaluate branch staff regularly. - Follow company policies and procedures - Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications    Health club managers must have strong project management and multi-tasking skills, as they handle a variety of tasks that span across marketing, operations, human resources, client relations and market analysis. These professionals should also be strong leaders, good listeners and effective marketers. It is important that health club managers stay on top of the latest fitness and health trends to attract and retain clientele. Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills are needed to train staff, delegate duties to employees and build relationships with health club members.
