Description The senior developer will be part of the Learning Technologies Team, in charge of developing interactive (learner to learner, learner to instructor, learner to mentor, learner to coach, learner to information database) learning objects. The objects based on formal instructional design incorporating research-based learning models or products to support learning such as job aides and knowledge repositories depending on requirements. The design process will Incorporate a variety of instructional approaches, including examples, problems, presentation and demonstration, practice and feedback, scenarios, case studies, role-play, simulation, assessment etc. These objects will be integrated within a classroom, distant, strategic learning or eLearning framework.
Qualifications •Demonstrated proficiency in the software life cycle: design, development, test, debug, integration, delivery, and successful deployment of Software. •JAVA development experience, C++/Objective-C is a plus •SharePoint administration, and server virtualization •PowerShell for maintenance, solution deployment, automated installation •SQL clustering, log shipping and performance tuning as related to SharePoint •Configuring/troubleshooting service applications such as Search, User Profiles, and Managed Metadata and native SharePoint workflows •Usability and UI design experience is an asset.
