Design Coordinator Jobs in Egypt Description We are urgently looking for a talented, experienced and highly motivated candidate to fill the role of Senior Design Coordinator position. The successful candidate shall take responsibility for coordinating all aspects of design from concept stage till tendering documents stage. He/she shall work closely with the BD Manager to review and evaluate the final designs, project drawings and detailed specifications. Job Description: — Monitor the performance of the Design Consultant to ensure the Design correctness and completeness as well as compliance with the scope of work requirements. — Maintain a record of the Design Consultant(s) submittals and control in a timely manner the submittals/correspondence received from the Design Consultant(s). — Ensure that the Design Consultant(s) has considered the end users requirements as stated in the statement of requirement. — Evaluate and endorse the variation orders/concession request submitted by the Design Consultant(s) for Clients approval. — Attend all meetings with Design Consultant(s), its sub-consultants and Clients Meetings. — Assist, monitor and ensure timely submittals of all documents from the Design Consultant(s) to all government departments until final necessary permits are obtained to proceed with the works to final completion. — Review and report to the Manager all Design Consultant(s) monthly reports including area of concern and recommended plans of actions.
Design Coordinator Jobs in Egypt Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Architecture/Civil. Postgraduate study is a plus. • 8 years+ solid design development and project management experience. Familiarity with all international design codes and standards is a MUST. • Experience in checking all design disciplines in all design phases and raising technical queries is preferred. • Knowledge of CAD design software. • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with Clients, Consultants, Sub-Consultants and Contractors. • Ability to work independently with limited support and under pressure. • Excellent report writing and MS Office. • Fluency in English language. Other language is an asset.
