Chief Accountant Jobs in Egypt Description 1.Preparing the (monthly, quarterly and annual) separate and consolidated financial statements (Balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and owner equitys statement) and any other financial information. 2. Fully responsible of coordinating with internal departments and external auditors to meet financial statements deadline. 3. Reviewing and approving the Bank reconciliations, daily bank transactions, bank loan transactions before being issued from the treasury department and confirm its proper recording on SAP. 4. Reviewing and approving the purchases process in accordance with the companys policy for (Fixed assets, Accounts payable and Inventory) with its supporting documents and confirming proper recording on SAP. 5. Reviewing and approving the billing process in accordance with the companys policy and insure proper recording on SAP. 6. Control the account of property & equipments and projects under construction and insure proper capitalization in accordance with the companys policy and procedures. 7. Preparing sales and withholding and corporate tax returns and submitting them to tax authorities in their due time. 8. Responsible of the ‘financial controls function– including (setting/modifying) the companys policies and procedures and insure the adherence of all departments in applying them properly. 9. Fully responsible of communicating any problem on SAP to IBM company and discuss with them the proper solution.
Chief Accountant Jobs in Egypt Qualifications 1. 8 - 10 years experience, 3- 4 years experience in the audit field in one of the big four audit firms, 3-4 years experience in similar position 2. A bachelor degree in accounting is mandatory. 3. A professional certificate (CMA or CPA) is preferable. 4. SAP professional user. 5. Hands on experience in implementing the Egyptian accounting standards and Egyptian tax law. 6. Full knowledge of external and internal Financial Reporting. 7. Coaching and communication skills and able to coordinate with the heads of other departments.
