Laboratory Technician Jobs in Egypt Description     —Assembles and operates common laboratory equipment such as pH meters, balances‡ —Prepares and distributes laboratory chemicals, materials and equipment in advance according to lab syllabus. —Assists lab instructor, teaching assistants and students during lab session (technical support). —Checks equipment for use in advance. —Performs routine maintenance of equipment in chemistry labs. —Collects and disposes of hazardous waste materials according to Zewail City regulations. —Assists, orientates, and trains of any new lab staff. —Participates in storage equipment and materials. —Orders of materials, equipment and chemicals for the labs. —Maintains an updated inventory for chemicals and equipment. —Be familiar with safety precautions. —Other duties may be added as necessary.
