Technical Purchase Specialist Jobs in Alex Description Searching evaluates and purchases services, supplies and equipment based on price, service, quality and warranty to meet the needs Preparing and processes purchasing forms such as purchase orders Negotiating all terms and conditions, in line with business operating procedures ensuring the best total acquisition costs Determining and developing appropriate sources of supply and maintains cooperative working relationships with vendors to stay current with trends and technologies, products and services Resolving problems and issuing arising from purchase of services, supplies and equipment with internal and external clients. Continually monitoring suppliers to ensure cost, quality and delivery adherence playing an active role in achieving departmental objectives such as cost reduction targets year on year & supplier reduction
