Description     The post-holder will undertake all administrative tasks in the Department, including, but not limited to: 1.Liaison with those responsible for teaching, assessment and examination scheduling (academic staff and Q&V/Student Affairs) to facilitate production of the various schedules to give the optimum benefit to students and faculty. 2.Liaison with Q&V and students to ensure that students programmes are registered correctly and in accordance with University deadlines. 3.Receiving and returning (with feedback) student coursework. 4.Administering student attendance records in accordance with University policy. 5.Administering student module and programme evaluations. 6.Servicing departmental committees. 7.Collating the Departments documentary submissions to BUE committees and other bodies and partner institutions. 8.Having an awareness of the University calendar and the Quality Enhancement Cycle and ensuring that the departments staff are reminded of their commitments to meet deadlines, in particular those relating to examinations, validation and quality assurance. 9.Assisting in the preparation of and arrangements for visits by representatives of external bodies, such as validating partners and the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities. 10.Assisting in the scheduling and arrangement of guest lectures and other extra-curricular activities. 11.Any other duties as directed by the Senior Assistant Registrar  
Qualifications    Education: Education to at least Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent At least high school level mathematics certificate Previous Experience: At least 2 years’ clerical or administrative experience, preferably in a university or multinational company Have used office IT packages (e.g. word processing, spreadsheet, email, databases) in a professional environment Computer Skills:Strong IT skills, including advanced use of MS Office packages, databases, Internet tools and browsers
