This is job Description for Network Engineer job
Network Engineer is responsible for Installing, supporting and maintaining server & PC hardware and software infrastructure
servers Suggesting and providing IT Infrastructure and Platform solutions Ensuring that all IT equipment complies with industry standards Analyzing and resolving faults, ranging from a major system crash to a forgotten password Undertaking routine preventative measures Implement, maintain and monitor network security Insure company portals are running effectively Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies Install, Configure and Administer all Cloud Based servers and platforms for the company and its customers Identify capacity requirements for current and proposed systems Perform sizing on all proposed new services and systems Coordinate performance testing of new services and systems Recommend tuning of services and systems Perform disaster recovery exercises Participate in the implementation of agreed solutions and strategies Administration of enterprise messaging infrastructure Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows 2003 & 2008), Active Directory & Exchange 2007/2010 , SharePoint 2010 Server DB SQL 2008 and configuration Strong knowledge of infrastructure capacity issues and monitoring tools, to include Windows Servers, Virtual Machines, Linux Servers, Unix Servers Experience in managing Linux & Windows servers Troubleshoot server issues using various internal and external resources Generate innovative approaches and solutions to recurring tasks or problems Provide coaching and guidance to team members Evaluate and recommend process and technology improvements Provide weekly and quarterly progress reports to the Management Maintain up-to-date documentation of related procedures, system configuration standards, maintenance and upgrades.
Manage Cisco products like : Routers , Switch . ASA Firewall and Cisco Phone
have a good knowledge about Leased Line and MPLS .
have experience in BitDefender anti virus .
work with GFI monitoring .
Professional in Virtualizations technology specified ESX 4 and 5 , Vcenter , Vsphare and Veeam Backup.
Professional MS Terminal Server 2008 .
Minimum 3 years experience as a Network Administrator
Professional certificate in IT is a must like
MCSE 2003
MCITP
VCP
CCNA
CCNA voice & Sec is the best .
Note :
Must be Professional in ESX 4 and 5 , Vcenter , Vsphare and Outlook 2007
Expert in MS Terminal Server configurations and ISA Server 2006 .
