Description 1.Answer the switchboard or telephone . 2.Screen telephone calls and transferring callers to other members of staff. 3.Deal with enquiries regarding basic information, such as company contact details and office locations. 4.Take telephone messages for staff . 5.Meet and greet visitors, and directing them to their meeting or appointment. 6.Look after visitors, including offering them a drink. 7.Ensure that the visitors book is kept up to date. 8.Issue visitor/security passes and ensuring these are returned on departure . 9.Take receipt of recorded post and courier deliveries. 10.Sort incoming mail for distribution and outgoing mail for collection. 11.Deal with email enquiries. 12.Arrange travel plans for staff and visitors, including booking taxis and train tickets. 13.Keep staff updated with any company announcements. 14.Keep the reception area tidy . 15.Perform general administrative tasks, including responsibility for first aid, and health and safety.
Qualifications 1.Be computer literate. 2.have strong interpersonal and communication skills . 3.be friendly and confident. 4.be able to priorities their workload . 5.be able to use their initiative when screening calls. 6.be flexible and adaptable . 7.be discreet and tactful. 8.be patient. 9.be presentable.
