Description Assure compliance with local tax & accounting laws and guidelines Monitoring & preparation of companys tax , accounting and payroll obligations ensuring alignment with local legal requirements and within the existing deadlines Ensure successful preparation of the Annual Financial statements and Tax return Co-operation with external auditors ensuring statutory audit opinion free of any significant notification Ensure timely and accurate transaction processes including the preparation of local statutory accounts. Review financial transactions and documentation ensuring compliance with internal audit requirement and Company policy Maintain effectively employees master data based on local regulation and computation of employees payroll Maintains files, records and documentation appropriately, ensuring all is up to date. Maintain of a clean set of balance sheet supporting records by performing monthly reconciliations Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial and management reports Ensure timely & accurate preparation of budget & forecast including cash flow forecast. Implement financial internal controls ensuring compliance with SOA, accounting standards and reporting requirements.
Qualifications • BSc in Finance or Accounting studies • 5 years of experience in an accounting or finance department of a multinational company • Excellent knowledge of the statutory requirements related to accounting, tax legislation and payroll. • Excellent knowledge of the English language • Excellent Computer literacy (MS Office, profound knowledge of Excel, Hyperion exposure would be considered an asset) • Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS would be considered an asset • Auditing experience and exposure to SOA desirable • Effective organizational & numerical skills • Resistance to pressure & tolerance to tight deadlines • Excellent communication skills
