Description To do general maintenance functions and address machine break-downs as required by the demands made and as determined by the Production Engineer/Supervisor/Manager in order to achieve the objectives of the Company as effectively and efficiently as possible. — Interpret drawings and instructions where and when necessary, as and when required, to ensure correct manufacturing method and carry out instructions as specified. — Carry out component manufacturing (improvising where necessary) in accordance with engineering practices and verbal instructions. — On a daily basis, to perform the standard maintenance where it applies. — Installation of new machinery as and when required following installation instructions. — Do fault finding on machine breakdowns to determine method of rectification. — Do fault finding on machines that are of 230V and 380V. — Implement as per instruction preventative maintenance programme. — Maintenance on Hydraulic and Pneumatic machines. — Do fault finding on productive machines. — Liaise with Production Engineer/Supervisor in accordance to comply with workload requirements and ensure order of priorities is maintained. — Maintain maintenance record system. — Keep safety standards.
Qualifications Team Player. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must have Leadership and Communication skills Must have Planning and Coordination skills. Must be mechanically skilled and minded. Have an understanding of electrics, mechanics and hydraulics. One (1) year experience (minimum) in production environment preferably on Plastics Manufacturing and Production Processes.
