Description Project Manager, The Employability and Career Development Centers (ECDCs) project, Career Center. Project Management: Manage the implementation of ECDC project in assigned public universities Ensure that project goals and deliverables are aligned with project implementation. Plan and schedule project timeline and milestones using appropriate tools. Oversee the day-to-day program activities within assigned universities. Liaise with the administrative and financial officer on relevant administrative and financial functions. Develop effective working relationships, liaise and maintain a regular flow of communication with USAID representatives Serve on selection committees to interview and identify program participants according to selection criteria. Develop status and progress reports, and contribute to the development of quarterly and annual program reports. Track success stories and contribute to programs communication/marketing plan. Translate English/Arabic documents as needed, and ensure proper documentation of project correspondence and material Training, Monitoring and Evaluation: Coordinate project assessment/training plan and ensure its implementation on assigned university campuses. Monitor and evaluate the project progress and effectiveness in relation to desired outcomes through conducting regular program evaluations and surveys, and reporting on results. Ensure the implementation of a sustainability plan that assures continuity of the project beyond its lifetime.
Qualifications Minimum education requirement: B. A. or B.Sc. is required; M.A. in a related field is an asset Experience: • 5 years’ experience in managing funded projects and donor relations is required • Prior experience in areas of education, development or corporate social responsibility preferred • Good knowledge of project schedule management and report writing • Experience in volunteer management, event planning, and program monitoring and evaluation required • Previous marketing experience is an advantage
