Description o Manage the implementation of the monthly logistics plan o Ensure up-to-date tracking of trucks within the trip. o Recruitment and Assigning of Drivers on each Truck while monitoring their performance to carefully select the candidates that should be terminated due to low performance results. o Monitor the truck standard times, costs, km, weights and fuel consumption to ensure that the fleet is within the standard limits that are set by management. GPS and Dynafleet data must be used to further pinpoint problems in driver performance that should be corrected o Penalize drivers for breaking standard trip time, tire damages, unjustified costs, fuel consumption rate and cargo weight ensuring that such actions are not repeated further. o Produce fleet operation data on a daily basis and updates on quantity of material in transit. o Supervise financial spending and approvals to provide a weekly report on settlement justifying and additional spending beyond the budget o Manage the vacations of reporting staff to ensure that work of every category is not interrupted due to vacations or leaves. o Actively pursue increasing driver safety awareness to reduce malpractice and accidents - Reporting Output: o Fleet Availability Reports o Fleet Operation Efficiency Reports o Department KPIs Reporting o Driver List and Shift Schedule o Driver Performance Reports o Department Expenses Reporting o Staff Attendance and Leave schedule
Qualifications - Bachelor degree in Logistics or related studies is a must. - 3 years of experience or above. - Previous experience in fleet operations. - Proficient user of MS Office applications. - Very good analytical , planning , communication and managerial skills.
