Description The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for managing the cost accounting function as an individual contributor reporting directly to the Controller -Manage cost accounting staff and activities to ensure accurate costing and financial information -Prepare and communicate monthly inventory statistics and reporting Also,Identify and communicate current concerns with processes to resolve inventory and costing issues. -Research and analyze cost variances to determine cause and ensure price is reasonable.In addition, review general ledger reconciliations for all inventory activities and accounts. -Responsible for weekly and monthly updates for costing system. Also, Ensure costing is accurate. -Review monthly discrepancy reports and ensure issues are being resolved. -Prepare production yield reports and provide direction in resolving related issues -Responsible for Year-end inventory audit. Review and monitor all the monthly inventory adjustments -Responsible for month ”end and year end close -Design and implement costing structure including analysis, reporting and recommendation. -Design and develop various costing models for management reporting. -Develop cost reporting to support variance and utilization reports.
Qualifications Bachelor Degree in accounting, preferred CMA or CFA holders

Experience 3 - 5 Years.
