Description —Performs routine installations, maintenance, and support of hardware, network, and software. —Attends to and updates steadily the helpdesk system with support calls. —Troubleshoots assigned applications and hardware. —Analyze the problem and advise the users accordingly. —Refers unresolved support requests to second-tier support staff in time. —Serves as liaison between technical staff and users to resolve basic problems and concerns. —Perform training for staff. —Abides to corporate and IT related policies within or outside the work location. —Relieves IT Staff members. —Continuous self and corporate knowledge update.
Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is necessary. An equivalent combination of education and related experience may also serve to meet this minimum requirement. •Basic understanding of operating systems, hardware configurations, and software. •Basic understanding of network concepts. •Ability to independently install and troubleshoot local software applications, hardware, and peripherals at the desktop level.
