Description     Project Officer for the Agricultural Livelihood Development Program —Facilitate, organize , support ALDP activities including targeted field research, proposal development —Establish and maintain excellent networks and collaborative working relationships —Advise management about issues affecting project implementation, or key local issues affecting future project developments —participate in the design of proposals , concept notes , & implementation projects. —Maintain administration & filing systems for the ADLP projects and initiatives —Occasionally host donor representatives or CRS visitors, —Support the ALDP team in the development of project documentation; marketing materials, case studies, —Ensure that resources, knowledge, and action points are shared between CRS local partners, CRS/Egypt staff, and CRS global resources —Assist all relevant local partners to set up and administer the pilot project —Provide technical assistance to the local partner organization(s) regarding project management, organizational management, financial accountability, M & E practices, or thematic topics related to agricultural livelihoods —Monitor activities of the local partner organization, communicating project progress to appropriate CRS staff —Ensure pilot project compliance with CRS financial, administration, and procurement policies. —Support the ALDP team in preparing reporting materials
Qualifications    •Minimum of three years work experience in development programs, with a heavy focus on rural, community-based programming and agriculture. •Demonstrated ability to work with local organizations to mobilize community members for project planning and implementation, preferred •Strong cross-cultural skills and experience working with people from different ethnic/cultural backgrounds •Demonstrated capacities to establish and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with donors, government officials, local organizations, communities and other stakeholders •Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines •Proven ability to develop proposals and write reports meeting donor requirements •Must be able to work independently and represent CRS as required in meetings and conferences. •Proficiency in computer applications (MS Word, Excel)
