Description Job Summary: Provide technical support to customers technical staff, answer questions on function and usage of product or service, gather relevant information and determine troubleshooting steps to diagnose & solve customer reported technical problems of varied complexity in professional and timely manner. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist customers with system installation, configuration and test functionality. 2. Handle a variety of technical support requests and provide assistance troubleshooting issues relating to our products & services within agreed time frames. 3. The role incorporates various duties, including emergency call out repairs, routine maintenance, trouble shooting, fault finding and high levels of customer support. 4. To visit customer sites and assist with live site technical support and troubleshooting as required. 5. Provide diligent customer follow-up on current case status. 6. Stay informed about and maintain proficiency with company product features and updates. 7. Research user needs and requirements and identify areas where changes can make maximum impact. 8. Audit customer installations and provide end-user training and overviews as required. 9. Document troubleshooting and problem resolution steps.
Qualifications 1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering, with a major in Electronics, Communication or Computer Science. 2. 2+ years working experience in a related field. 3. Strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for problem solving and investigation. 4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SQL Server & Microsoft office package is preferred. 5. Very good written and verbal communication skills in English. 6. Strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written format. 7. Detail-oriented, with excellent critical thinking and creative problem solving skills
