Description     Processing payment of vendor invoices. Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving, checking vendor information, quantities, payment terms and costs, and then enter in accounts payable system. Maintain vendor accounts & Maintain the suppliers general ledger. Check accounts payable edits after entry for errors; make any appropriate corrections if needed. Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner. Review all vendor account balances Responsible for Vendor Inquiries on invoices and payments. Provide strong internal and external audit support. Collaborate and build proactive, positive relationships with managers, outside vendors to ensure global best practices and consistency within processes. Participate in yearly audit projects. Assist in AP transitional tasks during acquisitions. Propose process improvements. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications    Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in accounting is must. Minimum five years of experience in accounts payable. Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). proficiency with ERP Systems (Great Plains is plus)
