Description The position holder will be responsible for the following: 1. Prepare monthly tax reports (income ” payroll ” commercial and industrial operations) 2. Prepare and a analyze data and documentation for annual tax reporting 3. Prepare documents and analyze data needed for tax field cases (tax audit, tax objection 4. processing, tax appeal, etc.) 5. Assist audit personnel in tax cases or issues related to an audit project 6. Assists in preparing tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules. 7. Maintains legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised laws. 8. Maintains compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to local authorities. 9. Revises procedures by developing and streamlining procedures and worksheets for calculation of tax provisions
Qualifications Bachelor of Accounting 2-3 years experience in a similar position Certificate or Professional Qualification in the area of specialty is an asset Understanding of tax regulations and laws – professional programs is an asset Attended and participated in tax review procedures (external committees Solid communication skills and confident personality
