Description — Coordinate with inventory Manager regarding dates and quantities of material needed — Ensure all orders are fulfilled within customer timeline — Manage P&L to balance customer experience with cost containment — Develop performance metrics; analyze such to recommend opportunities for improvement — Identify multiple logistics service providers — Participate in contract discussions — Manage relationships with suppliers/service providers — Participate in other activities with operations team to manage the business —Manage Third Party Logistics providers such as freight forwarders, ocean carriers, warehouse providers, container movement providers, rail operators, trucking vendors and other organizations to handle and deliver products for markets. —Design and coordinate efforts across functions for creating new logistic supply chains, both to-country and in-country, in support of new customers and new markets. —Identify, analyze and manage projects to develop business cases that increase logistics service and efficiency while reducing costs —Provide global logistics customer service point of contact for sales and manufacturing
Qualifications • Minimum 1-2 year logistics or supply chain experience • Strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to deal with ambiguity • Strong data analysis skills • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
